Our Story
OMC — Old Mill Cotton — started in 2019 in a small studio in Dhaka, driven by a question that wouldn't go away: why does Bangladesh produce garments for the world's biggest brands, yet lack a premium homegrown brand of its own?
Our founders, textile veterans who had spent years on the production floor, set out to change that. They believed that Bangladesh's cotton — woven with skill, dedication, and a tradition stretching back centuries — could speak for itself. No shortcuts, no synthetic blends, no compromises.
Six years later, OMC serves customers across Bangladesh and the United States with a growing collection of everyday essentials — shirts, trousers, and knitwear — all made from 100% pure cotton, crafted in our Dhaka facility.

Our Journey
2019
OMC Old Mill Cotton is founded in Dhaka by a team of textile enthusiasts passionate about elevating Bangladeshi cotton to global standards.
2020
Launched our first online store serving Bangladesh customers. Introduced our signature Oxford weave — still our bestseller today.
2021
Achieved GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification for our entire cotton supply chain.
2022
Expanded to serve the Bangladeshi diaspora in the United States with international shipping from our San Jose, CA logistics hub.
2023
Reached 30,000 customers. Launched our loyalty rewards program — Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers — to give back to our most dedicated shoppers.
2024
Opened our first physical showroom in Dhaka. Introduced AI-powered personal styling via Lyla, our virtual stylist.
2025
